Overview

12 Testers – Testers Community is a platform that connects app developers and testers, enabling curated closed-testing workflows, feedback collection, and token-based rewards. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and how you can control it.

1. What data we collect

We collect information in four main categories:

A. Account & Profile

When you sign up we may collect details you submit, such as name, email address, avatar selection, and optional profile fields. These are used to enable features, identify accounts, and provide support.

B. Device, Logs & Diagnostics

To ensure reliability and debug issues we collect technical details: device model, OS version, IP address, crash logs, and analytics events (screens visited, clicks). This helps us improve the platform and fix problems faster.

C. Testing Activity & Rewards

Because the platform is centered on testing, we log tester actions relevant to rewards: when a tester opens an app, installs via Play Store link, submits feedback, or claims tokens. This information is used only to track eligibility for token rewards and audit test completion.

D. Media & Group Links

If you upload an app icon, screenshot, or attach files, we store them in secure cloud storage. When a developer includes a Google Group URL or Play Store test link, we store that link as part of the app listing.

2. How we use collected data

We process data to:

  • Create and maintain your account and preferences
  • Deliver testing tasks, process test completions, and credit tokens
  • Prevent abuse and fraud (for example, fake installs or automated claims)
  • Improve the product via analytics and crash reporting
  • Enable secure payments and advertising personalization when permitted
  • Communicate important updates (support replies, policy updates)

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with third-parties necessary to provide services (see “Third parties” below).

3. Third parties & integrations

We use reputable services to deliver features and infrastructure:

  • Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Remote Config) — for authentication, realtime DB, functions that credit tokens and send notifications.
  • Google AdMob — for monetization. Ads may use device identifiers for personalized ads unless you opt out.
  • Google Play Billing — for purchases and subscription handling. Payment data (cards) is handled by Google Play and is never stored on our servers.
  • Crashlytics & Analytics — aggregated crash and usage data to improve stability.

Each of these services maintains its own privacy policy — please review them to understand their data practices. We only integrate provider APIs at the minimum level required for functionality.

4. Data retention & removal

We keep data only as long as necessary:

  • Account & profile data: until you delete your account or request removal
  • Testing & reward logs: retained for auditing and fraud prevention (typically up to 1 year, unless required longer)
  • Crash logs and analytics: retained as summarized or anonymized data for product improvement

Delete account: Email nadeemgamer180@gmail.com to request complete account removal. We will confirm and attempt to honor deletion requests within 30 days subject to legal obligations and audit logs needed for fraud prevention.

4A. Auto-deletion of app listings after 24 hours

Summary: To ensure freshness of listings and limit stale/test data, any app listing published by a developer to the platform is visible publicly on the Home feed for up to 24 hours from the time of publication. After 24 hours the listing and its public test entry are automatically removed from the public Home feed. This auto-deletion is an automatic platform action and applies to the public listing only; audit logs required for fraud prevention and internal records are retained as described above.

Why we auto-delete after 24 hours

Auto-deletion keeps the Home feed current and gives recent uploads priority. It prevents the feed from becoming overcrowded with old or outdated test listings, which helps new and recent developers gain visibility. It also reduces stale test entries that can confuse testers.

What exactly is removed

  • Public listing on Home feed: the app card and public details are removed from the Home feed after 24 hours.
  • Download/test access links: public tester links are removed from the Home feed (developers retain control over their app listing in their dashboard until they republish or re-add).
  • Uploaded media (icons, screenshots): may be removed from public serving; however, copies required for moderation, audits, or fraud investigation are retained internally as described above.

Does auto-deletion delete developer accounts or stored user data?

No. Auto-deletion only affects the public visibility of an app listing. Developer accounts, user accounts, and the core stored profile data remain intact unless the developer or user requests full deletion as explained in the "Delete account" section above.

Can a developer remove a listing manually before 24 hours?

Yes — developers can remove or unpublish their own listing through the dashboard at any time. The automatic removal after 24 hours is an additional safeguard and scheduling rule; manual deletion/unpublish will take effect immediately.

If the developer needs the listing kept longer

If a developer wants a listing to remain visible longer than 24 hours (for example to run extended tests or to reach more testers), they should contact support at nadeemgamer180@gmail.com or use the Contact form inside the app (Profile → Contact). Support will review legitimate requests and may allow exceptions in special cases; keep in mind that extended visibility may affect Home feed fairness for other developers.

How auto-deletion affects testers and tokens

Auto-deletion does not reverse or invalidate previously awarded tokens or recorded test completions. Any tokens credited to testers for completing steps (download, feedback, etc.) are preserved according to normal retention and auditing rules.

Audit & fraud prevention

Although the public listing is removed after 24 hours, internal logs and audit trails that document test activity may be retained longer to support dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and compliance. These internal records are accessed only by authorized personnel under strict controls.

5. Security measures

We implement secure best-practices:

  • Encrypted TLS connections for all network traffic
  • Firestore rules and restricted service accounts for server operations
  • Least-privilege access to production systems
  • Regular monitoring for suspicious activity and automated abuse detection

Despite precautions, no system is 100% immune. In the unlikely event of a breach, we will follow applicable law to notify affected users and regulators.

6. Children's privacy

This app is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us at nadeemgamer180@gmail.com and we will delete the account upon verification.

7. Your rights & choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion or restriction of processing
  • Opt-out of marketing or personalized advertising
  • Request a machine-readable copy of your data

8. Data Safety & Google Play

When submitting to Google Play, we disclose data handling information in the Data Safety form. We are committed to transparency and ensure that data categories used for ads, analytics, or app functionality are declared correctly in Play Console.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify users via app update notes or in-app announcements. Continued use after changes means you accept the new policy.
